This is the 4th issue of ST NEWS that is dedicated to Willeke (still the most lovely girl I know), and I just want to make sure that you realise that she's still my main source of inspiration whenever I am in doubt or need someone to be of mental assistance to me. I will let Willeke read it as well, and I bet she'll like it, too..........Eerk Hofmeester (from the "STRIKE-a-LIGHT" group): For going through considerable throuble writing his "Tune-up" review..........Hubert van Mil (ST Club Eindhoven): For lending Eerk his POST-World War II Volvo so that Eerk could actually go through the aforementioned trouble..........The Postal Services: For still being awfully slow and gruesomely expensive.......... Those were the 'thanks and credits' for this issue, but there are still several memory cells to be filled until this scrolling will reach its full length of about 8 Kb. So I'll start now with what I almost forgot to do: Wishing you all (wherever on earth) a merry Christmas and a happy newyear - and that new year should not only be happy, but also filled with new software releases, the elimination of all virus spreaders, the annihilation of all viruses on all disks and.....well....what's more to wish.....no deceases of any kind. I suppose 1988 will see the rise and shine of the ST in its full potential, as positive sales figures keep reaching me from everywhere. Let's hope even more companies will start writing GOOD software for the ST, and let's hope that the ST will keep on out-selling the Amiga! There are lots of new software titles announced for next year, so there should be no need for boredom whatsoever. And, of course, ST NEWS will continue as usual, bringing even less boredom in the 1988 world of ST users. I'd hereby like to thank all people that have contributed to the 'breakthrough' of ST news in 1987: All software companies that helped us, all readers, all critics and (especially) all people who were in such generous a mood to donate any amount of money on my giro account number. You're all great and I love you all (though, as you'll understand, a bit different than the love that I feel for Willeke).
